The Spring Splash of Yellow.

How beautiful is this going to be in full bloom?
I found another praying mantis cacoon, a double one on the red bush.
I hope to catch them hatching.

Front Yard Tour 2009 - Praying Mantis Cocoons in the Forsythea

I must have found 9 Praying Mantis coccons in the Forsythea, they were busy this Fall. I will not distrub any of them and hopefully I will be able to get pictures of the cacoon opening. I guess I need to tag the branches they are on because if you look close you will see the Forsythea buds are green and starting to grow..Oh Spring is here. I love the detail on each cacoon. K
